IV Therapy and Vitamin Injections in Northern Virginia
Physician-directed, not picked from a menu.
Hydration and nutrient support chosen by a board-certified physician who knows your health history, and given safely in our clinic.
- Physician-screened
- Lab-guided when needed
- Given in a medical setting
Why physician-directed IV therapy matters
An IV puts fluids and nutrients straight into your bloodstream. That's exactly why it should start with a doctor, not a menu.
- You choose a drip from a menu
- Little or no review of your health history
- Same formula for everyone
- No connection to your ongoing care
- A physician decides if IV therapy is right for you
- Your history, medications, and labs are reviewed first
- Your formula is chosen for your needs
- Coordinated with your weight, hormone, or primary care plan
What we offer

Who it may help
IV therapy and injections can be a useful part of your care when there's a clear reason for them.
- DehydrationFrom illness, heat, travel, or a hard workout.
- Low vitamin levelsSuch as a vitamin B12 deficiency confirmed by labs.
- Trouble absorbing nutrientsAfter weight loss surgery, with some digestive conditions, or with certain long-term medications.
- Support during a weight loss programWhen nausea or a smaller appetite makes it hard to keep up with fluids and nutrition.
Honest care: IV therapy isn't a cure-all, and it isn't right for everyone. If it won't help you, we'll tell you, and we'll focus on what will.

IV Therapy and Vitamin Injections Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from an IV bar or drip lounge?
Many IV bars let you pick a drip from a menu, often with little medical screening. At My Wellness Physicians, a board-certified physician reviews your health history, medications, and labs when needed, and decides whether IV therapy or an injection is right for you and what it should contain.
Who should not get IV therapy?
IV fluids and some vitamins aren't safe for everyone. People with heart failure, kidney disease, certain blood pressure or electrolyte problems, or allergies to an ingredient may need a different approach. Pregnancy and some medications also require extra care. Dr. Cruz‑Tolentino reviews these before recommending treatment.
Who might benefit from a vitamin B12 injection?
B12 injections are most useful for people with low B12 levels or trouble absorbing it, such as after weight loss surgery, with certain digestive conditions, or with long-term use of some medications such as metformin or acid reducers. If your levels are normal, extra B12 is unlikely to add much benefit, so we check before we treat.
How long does an IV session take?
Most IV sessions take less than an hour, and you can relax in our clinic while it runs. Vitamin injections take just a few minutes.
